Burglar Class Guide • The Elder Scrolls: Betrayal of the Second Era

In this class guide for The Elder Scrolls: Betrayal of the Second Era, we’re looking at the Burglar, a fast, flexible, and loot-hungry class. I cover the class abilities, how to upgrade to master, racial synergy, stat allocation, the starting skill line, some strong pairings, and item choices. I also walk through a gameplay section to show how it all plays out in solo on Expert difficulty.

Rove: Anchorpoint • Campaign Overview & My Thoughts

In this video, I’m sharing a campaign overview and my thoughts on Rove: Anchorpoint – a new co-operative, narrative-driven board game from Addax Games, currently funding on Gamefound. It’s a campaign-based dungeon crawler-esque in the spirit of Gloomhaven, with tactical combat, story progression, and character development. I give an overview of the game’s mechanics, highlight what I find most interesting, and share a few mixed thoughts as well. If you’re on the fence about backing, hopefully this helps you decide.

Destruction Staff Explained • The Elder Scrolls Betrayal of the Second Era

The Destruction Staff skill line is all about raw elemental damage, crowd-controlling status effects, and destructive power. In this video, I go over each of the dice in the line, explain how the skills work, highlight some common rules questions, and share thoughts on how to get the most out of this explosive toolkit.

Witchhunter in Morrowind • Full Solo Campaign Playthrough • The Elder Scrolls: BotSE

In this video, I record my first-ever full campaign playthrough on camera, playing The Elder Scrolls: Betrayal of the Second Era solo on Expert difficulty as a Witchhunter. The build uses Soul Magic and Vampire, along with some of the upcoming Heroes of Tamriel content that Chip Theory Games kindly allowed me to showcase early. I was pretty nervous filming this one and definitely made a few mistakes along the way, so I added on-screen corrections wherever I could. Still, it turned into a really fun run through Morrowind, and I hope you enjoy watching the full journey. Any feedback on pacing, explanations, or editing is always welcome.

Threshold • Campaign Overview & My Thoughts

In this video, I share my thoughts on Threshold, a new solo and co-op fantasy board game currently crowdfunding from Open Owl Studios. It aims to capture the feel of MMOs and ARPGs with tactical, card-driven combat, flexible character customisation, and a world built around exploration and challenge. I go through the campaign page, talk about the mechanics and ideas that stood out to me, and share how I personally feel about the project based on what’s been revealed so far. It’s not a full review – just an honest first look at a game that seems to blend a lot of things I enjoy.

Every Potion Ranked • Slay the Spire: The Board Game

In this video, I rank every potion in Slay the Spire: The Board Game based on how useful they’ve been across my runs. Some potions can completely swing a fight or save an entire act, while others are much more situational or simply not worth holding onto. I go through each one, explain where I placed it, and share the thinking behind the ranking so you can decide which potions are worth grabbing and which you can safely skip.

New Race Abilities, Classes & Skill Lines of Heroes of Tamriel • The Elder Scrolls

In this video, I go over my first impressions of The Elder Scrolls: Heroes of Tamriel campaign and all the new content it introduces — from the updated race sheets with new art and racial abilities to the brand-new classes and skill lines like Witchhunter, Warrior, Dual Wield, and Storm Calling. As always, it’s a first impressions look, not a full deep dive, but with plenty of nerdy observations. Let me know what caught your eye!

How long does it take to set up The Elder Scrolls: BotSE?

One of my subscribers recently asked how long it actually takes to set up The Elder Scrolls: Betrayal of the Second Era. I’ve always said around 10–15 minutes… but I’ve never properly tested it. So, out of curiosity (and as a little “scientific experiment”), I filmed the entire setup (raw and unedited) from opening the box to being ready to play. No cuts, no time skips, just the real setup experience in real time. Let’s see how long it actually takes!

Shadows of Oblivion • Daedric Princes First Impressions • Elder Scrolls: Heroes of Tamriel Campaign

In this video, I share my first impressions of Shadows of Oblivion, a new expansion in the Heroes of Tamriel campaign. This one focuses on the Daedric Princes (Hermaeus Mora, Mehrunes Dagon, Sheogorath, Sanguine, Azura, and Peryite), each introducing a new mechanic that fundamentally changes how the game plays. It’s early impressions for now, but this set already feels like one of the most creative additions to Betrayal of the Second Era yet.

Werewolf & Vampire Skill Lines • Fur & Fang First Impressions • Heroes of Tamriel

In this video, I share my first impressions of the Fur & Fang expansion for The Elder Scrolls: Heroes of Tamriel, which introduces the Werewolf and Vampire skill lines. Both add some really interesting mechanics that feel completely different from anything else in the game. I talk about what makes each one unique and how their playstyles compare. It’s just a casual first look, but these two skill lines already look like they’re going to bring some very fun chaos to the table.
